VASCO: Aam Admi Party, Mormugao has welcomed the decision by the Hon.High Court quashing the reservation procedure particularly in Mormugao Municipal Council and other councils, rescheduling of the elections in all these 5 municipalities.
In a press briefing AAP Mormugao leader Parshuram Sonurlekar thanks the petitioner’s who has highlighted the matter of civic poll reservation and bought justice to all the aspirant women and reservation candidates who were deprived of representation in the Mormugao and other municipalities for recent unjust reservation.

Sonurlekar said AAP demand resignation of the UD Minister on moral grounds if not then the Chief Minister should sack him as a minister for the fiasco caused in civic poll reservation.
Another AAP leader said that they had written about the faulty civic poll reservation to the Deputy Collector in recent past. “I would like to applause the judgement given by the Hon. High court which is in the interest of the people. The judgement on the civic poll reservation is a victory of democracy, judiciary and women” he added.
