Villagers raised the issue that panchayat secretary was not present for the gram sabha and that the secretary appointed for gram sabha by the BDO would not be able to advice the sarpanch and satisfy the members or produce necessary documents.
Sarpanch when contacted informed that secretary was unable to attend not only the gram sabha meetings, but also panchayat body meeting as he was sick. Sarpanch stated that certain documents needed at the gram sahba were in the custody of the secretary.
