NEET on May 3; GCET on May 5, 6

PANJIM: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), organised by the National Testing Agency (NTA), for admissions in to medical, dental and Ayush programmes will be held on May 3, 2020.
On the other hand, the  Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) for admissions to professional degree courses 2020-21 would be held on May 5 and 6, 2020.
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), in a circular issued, has said that the students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), allied Health Sciences (Paramedical), BSc in Nursing and BVSc and AH courses in the State for the academic year 2020-21 are required to appear and qualify at NEET-UG-2020. The registration for the same will begin from December 2, 2019.
The admissions to BE, B Pharm courses in the State will be carried out on basis of GCET-2020, which shall be conducted in various centres, in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, based on Std XII syllabus of Goa Board.
