VASCO: Acting on the news report in Herald, Traffic PI Naulesh Desai, who is holding additional charge of Vasco Traffic Cell, booked the minor and pillion rider for rash and negligent driving and for allowing the minor boy to ride the motorcycle.

PI Desai has also booked the motorcycle owner for lending his two-wheeler to his son, who allowed the minor boy to ride it.
According to sources at Vasco Traffic Cell, PI Desai immediately after reading the report in Herald got the registration number of the Enfield bike and summoned the motorcycle owner, the pillion rider and the minor boy to the police station.
Sources said the pillion rider and the minor boy have been booked for rash and negligent driving, while the pillion rider was also booked for allowing the minor to ride the two-wheeler.
Source further informed that the motorcycle owner was booked for lending his motorcycle to the pillion rider, who allowed the minor boy to ride the bike.
Sources said a report was also sent to the RTO to cancel/suspend the driving licence of the pillion rider and cancellation of the registration of the two-wheeler.
