According to police, Nevil B Furtado, resident of Copelwado in Sernabatim, complained that Wilson Fernandes, resident of Nagvaddo Betalbhatim, Maria Filomena Braganza e Furtado, resident of Ambeaxir, Sernabatim and other unknown persons, with their common intention, tempered with the survey number, forged the documents maintained by the government and used the same for proceeding in the Court. The accused have been booked under section 466, 468,471, 472, 477 read with 34 of IPC.
Two booked for tampering with records
MARGAO: Margao police have booked two known and an indefinite number of unknown persons for tampering with survey records, forging government documents and using the same in a court proceeding.
