Police team who craked Japanese tourist case to get Rs 50k reward

Mapusa: Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte on Wednesday announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for the police investigating team which solved the case related to robbing of  a Japanese tourist.

Khaute was addressing media during his visit to the office of Mapusa SDPO. Khaute said that advisory was issued by the Japanese Consul General office in Mumbai that their citizens are not safe in Anjuna. I spoke to SP North immediately. Goa is a tourist destination and we have to give a clear message that Goa is safe and secure.
