FATORDA: Promising youngster Clayson Barbosa struck a gold medal in the 73-78 kg junior category of the 2nd Kukkiwon cup Indian International Taekwondo championship organised by Indian Dojang Sports organisation at the Talkatora Indoor stadium, at New Delhi, recently.
The SAG RCC Fatorda trainee fended off strong challenges from participants from Punjab and Bengal to win the gold medal for Goa.
Clayson is a regular trainee for the last 5 years at the Multipurpose Hall in Fatorda and is coached by Theophile Lowe the senior most SAG Taekwondo coach.
Teams from Mumbai, Delhi, Rajasthan, UP, Punjab, Bengal etc also participated.
