The executive members of Goa Cricket Association’s (GCA) managing committee comprising three vice presidents, secretary, treasurer and three joint secretaries tendered their resignation to the President Dayanand Narvekar today.
The vice presidents include Chetan Desai, Prakash Phadke and Sanjay Kanekar, secretary Prasad Phaterpekar, treasurer Vinod Phadke and joint secretaries Vivek Pednekar, Amrish Naik and Kishori Haldankar.
The resignations came in as the office bearers felt that the association is going through a difficult phase, stated Mr Phaterpekar in a press release.
Mr Phaterpekar added that all members have reposed full faith in the president and felt it will be easy to revamp the managing committee if necessary.
