In view of the upcoming Panchayat Election, Goa Police are on their toes conducting raids against the illegal sale of liquor. Anjuna Police on Thursday conducted a raid at Pacho Restaurant, Anjuna and seized illegally stored liquor worth Rs 24,000. Also, the South district team led by the Quepem Police Inspector seized 131 illegal liquor bottles worth Rs 9,408 at Borimol, Quepem.
