MAPUSA: The enhanced 250 TPD treatment facility of the Saligao Waste Treatment Plant was inaugurated by Chief Secretary Parimal Rai.

The facility is designed and constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 103.87 crore with 90 percent funding by NABARD under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund Scheme.
It will treat 150 tonnes of wet waste and 100 tonnes of dry waste daily.
