The two men robbed the petrol pump’s cash box at 1.30 am, and were identified on CCTV footage later in the day. Both are under police remand, while a team of policemen is on the lookout for a third accomplice, Imran, who managed to escape the state. A case has been registered against the three under section 380 (read with section 34) of the IPC.
Two held for looting petrol pump
MARGAO: Margao police nabbed two persons who stole Rs 4.89 lakh from a local petrol pump on Tuesday. The accused, Altaf Pathan and Munir Pathan, both from Rumdamol, Davorlim, were caught less than 24 hours after the crime. Rs 1.5 lakh were also recovered from Munir’s house.
