PONDA: The Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) demolished three illegal sheds with police protection on Friday.
One of the three illegal sheds was erected on the terrace of a hotel. The municipal sources said that the shed on the terrace of the hotel was erected 10 years ago during its renovation.
The PMC had issued show cause notice to the hotel owner, but he challenged the PMC order before the Administrative Tribunal which upheld the decision of the municipality.
