MAPUSA: Mapusa police arrested Sajjan Maruti Narvekar (25) and Rupesh Bandu Jhadav (25) for possessing drugs illegally.
Acting on a tip-off, a Mapusa police team raided a place near Camurlim ferry point late night on Friday and caught the duo with 445 grams of ganja worth Rs 45,000. The accused Narvekar is a resident of Mapusa, while Jadhav is a resident of Cunchelim. The raiding team was headed by PSI Deepesh Shetkar and consisted of PSI Kiran Naik, PC Rupesh Korgaonkar and Rajesh Kanolkar.
