The new Chief Minister, who has admitted to a lack of knowledge on issues tackled by Parrikar, has to deal with some contentious issues including resumption of mining, implementation of Regional Plan 2021, finding a solution to the medium of instruction policy and the Mopa airport. These are some of the issues haunting the BJP since it formed the government in 2012.
Parsekar cancelling key meetings
PANJIM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has been either cancelling or rescheduling meetings with ministers on crucial issues, sources said. The meetings include one with Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza scheduled on November 26 which was cancelled at the last moment.
