CM denies shortage of vaccines

PANJIM: While promoting the ongoing ‘Tika Utsav’, a vaccination drive till April 30, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Thursday rejected speculation that Goa was facing a shortage of vaccine doses.

Responding to queries from media persons whether the stock is sufficient for the State’s population, Sawant said, “The State has enough stock. There is no shortage of vaccines.”

Sawant reiterated that all the people who are eligible for the vaccine should take it immediately and how he is hoping that the momentum at ‘the successful Tika Utsav’ continues and that there is 100 per cent vaccination of eligible persons.
