Shantaram urges respect for Ayodhya verdict

Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik has underlined the need to respect the verdict of the Allahabad high court on the Ayodhya land dispute.
Reacting the court verdict, Naik said he has not gone into the detailed judgment, but added that the need of the hour is to respect the high court verdict.
President of the Konkani Bhasha Mandal, Prashant Naik said all citizens should respect the law of the land. The high court has given the verdict and one has to respect the decision of the Judiciary. “If someone is aggrieved by the court decision, the right thing to do is to approach the Supreme Court. The Judiciary has to be respected by everyone and the verdict has to be followed in letter and spirit”, he said.
The general secretary of the Sirvodem Masjid Matin Abdul Carol said he would offer his comments only after going through the detailed court judgement.
