SANGUEM: Sanguem MLA Subhash Phaldessai stated that the BJP government is not facing any financial crisis and the money made available under the schemes is from the government funds.
He was speaking at the function organised by Department of Women and Child Development at Shrison Plaza Hall Sanguem to disburse sanction letters for women under the Griha Aadhar scheme.
“With the closure of mining activities in the State, Congress leaders are shell-shocked and surprised as to from where the BJP government will raise money to distribute under various schemes,” stated Phaldessai.
While blaming the Congress for the mining mess in Goa, Phaldessai thanked the chief minister for sanctioning the maximum forms from Sanguem constituency considering the financial crisis faced by the people from the mining belt due to total closure of mining activities.
“Of the total 3,800 forms from Sanguem constituency, government issued sanction letters to 1,120 beneficiaries which account for about 20 per cent of the total forms sanctioned in the first lot,” he informed.
Phaldessai also assured the voters to provide benefits of all the schemes, for which he claimed to have opened four offices in different parts of the constituency.
Terming Parrikar as an ATM machine fulfilling basic needs of every section of the society, Tourism Minister Dilip Parulekar urged people from Sanguem to rally behind BJP in the coming years.
“In the coming months, more schemes devised exclusively for the benefit of the common men will be on the anvil and it will be made available to the beneficiaries at their doorsteps,” said Parulekar.
BJP State Secretary Adv Narendra Savaikar, ZP Sanguem Navnath Naik, Sanguem Municipal Council Chairperson Changuna Salgaonkar, Vice Chairperson Shaikh Imtiaz, Councillors Agnelo Da Costa and Analina Fernandes, Sanguem BJP President Manoday Phadte and Malkarnem Sarpanch Deepak Naik were present on the occasion.
