SANGUEM: A huge Acacia tree fell on the main road near Sanguem Court on Thursday morning disrupting the traffic for nearly half-an-hour.

After receiving the information, Deputy Collector Sanguem Ajay Gaude and Joint Mamlatdar Ana Rita Paes rushed to the site and summoned the Curchorem fire brigade to clear the road.
Traffic proceeding to Curchorem and Sanguem was disrupted.
However, the work to remove the tree took some time as the Electricity Department officials switched off the power supply as the electricity wires got snapped due to the tree crash.
