After serving as sarpanch of Kurti-Khandepar panchayat for barely two months, Suraj Naik has now been confronted with a no-confidence motion filed by six members.
Suraj Naik was elected as sarpanch following the resignation of Hussain Mullah. Incidentally, Mullah is among the six members who have signed the no-confidence motion claiming that the sarpanch was not taking them into confidence while executing various works.
They even claimed that the autocratic behavior of the sarpanch had forced them to take such a step.
The other five panch members who have signed the no-confidence motion are Bhika Kerkar, Narayan Naik, Anita Naik, Parvin Banu Tahsildar and Ravindra Gaude.
