The charges were framed by Additional District and Sessions Judge Vincent D’Silva, on Wednesday. Sujit and Barnesh had in March 2015 allegedly murdered an unknown male by pushing him under a train. The identity of the body has still not been established.
The duo had got into a scuffle with the deceased and pushed him under a running train. The accused are residents of Margao and were suspected of being involved in illegally smuggling of liquor through one of the Konkan railway trains.
The Konkan railway had found the body and a case was registered. It was later transferred to Margao police for investigation.
