GPCC HEAVILY CRITICISES DEATHS ON ROADS AND COLLAPSE OF HEALTH SECTOR IN GOA

The Goa Pradesh Congress Committee has heavily criticised the BJP Government of Goa for being insensitive towards the health sector in Goa. Congress has said that the Government has no moral right to continue in power and further demanded that the Governor should immediately dissolve the government of Goa.

Speaking on the backdrop of the state of South Goa District Hospital (SGDH) GPCC President Amit Patkar said that patients are being referred from Health Centers to South Goa District Hospital and further to GMC. This is an example of a complete collapse of health facilities in Goa

Goa Pradesh Congress said that one person is dying every 31 hours in Goa. “197 people died in road accidents in last six months. Ambulances are not reaching on time. This is nothing but murders of innocent Goans” Patkar said.

“We will approach High Court demanding removal of incompetent persons who cannot handle sensitive portfolios” he said.

“This is a complete collapse of administration and the Minister’s themselves have no idea what is going on in their departments” Patkar charged.
