PERNEM: A 21-year-old Russian national succumbed to injuries following a tragic motorcycle self-accident in Petichawada, Korgao in Pernem.

The victim, identified as Dmitrii Kutin, lost control of his bike and collided with a roadside jackfruit tree on Sunday, September 29. He was promptly rushed to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC) for treatment but passed away on Monday, September 30.
Authorities have registered a case under Section 194 of the BNSS at the Pernem Police Station, and the investigation is being conducted by PSI Yogesh Mandrekar.
