Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar carried out an inspection of the ongoing railway underpass project near Tanya Hotel to assess construction progress and address concerns raised by residents.
Salkar noted that while permissions have been granted for cutting a few trees, every effort will be made to preserve them or replant them safely. He stressed that the project team is committed to ensuring minimal environmental impact.

The MLA also pointed out that the project features plans for new two-way roads, which will significantly ease traffic movement in the area. The improved road network is expected to offer major benefits to emergency vehicles by reducing response times and providing smoother transit for the public.
