Goa Government Bans Birthday Parties, Farewells and Private Events in Offices During Work Hours

The Goa government has issued a circular prohibiting birthday celebrations, farewell parties, gaming activities and other private events from being held in government offices during working hours. The directive emphasizes that office time and premises must be used strictly for official purposes.

The circular further states that any misuse of government space or time for non-official gatherings will be treated as a violation of conduct rules and may invite disciplinary action against those involved.
