An accident was reported at Assagao on the road leading to the Dattatraya Temple after an autorickshaw rolled into a roadside trench on Tuesday.
According to available information, the autorickshaw was travelling from Assagao towards DMC College and had a female passenger on board. The driver had reportedly stopped the vehicle along the roadside and stepped away briefly, when the parked rickshaw lost balance and rolled into the trench.

Both the driver and the passenger sustained minor injuries in the incident. They were provided preliminary medical assistance.
Police have been informed and further details are awaited.
