Zimbabwe, meanwhile, have been eliminated after back-to-back losses.

The remaining semi-final berth from Group 1 will be decided between India and West Indies. Both teams sit on two points, having beaten Zimbabwe but lost to South Africa. The winner of their crucial clash in Kolkata will progress to the last four. However, West Indies currently hold the edge on net run rate and would advance if the match is washed out.
In Group 2, England have confirmed qualification after victories over Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The second spot remains a two-way contest between New Zealand and Pakistan.
New Zealand will qualify if they defeat England or if that match is abandoned due to rain. Pakistan, who currently trail on points and net run rate, must beat Sri Lanka convincingly and hope England overcome the Black Caps. Sri Lanka are already out of contention following consecutive defeats.
The final round of Super 8s fixtures will now determine the remaining semi-finalists.
