Pramod Sawant announced that Goa University has received ₹100 crore under the PM-USHA Scheme, out of which ₹35 crore will be utilised for various development initiatives.
Speaking about higher education initiatives in the state, Sawant said graduate-level colleges in Goa will conduct campus interviews in March to facilitate employment opportunities for students completing their studies.
The Chief Minister also stated that the government plans to replace the existing Balrath buses used for transporting school students. The move is aimed at improving safety and ensuring better transportation facilities for children across the state.
Sawant added that the government is working on strengthening educational infrastructure and creating more opportunities for students through various central and state schemes.
