IndiGo has suspend ed six routes from Goa with immediate effect, reducing its weekly departures by 32 flights as part of a broader network rationalisation to ad dress operational constraints. The affected services pri marily originate from Mano har International Airport (Mopa), including routes to Surat (once weekly), Bhu baneswar (three times week ly), and higher-frequency sec tors such as Rajkot, Vadodara, and Chandigarh, each oper ating seven times a week. In addition, the Bhopal–Goa In ternational Airport (Dabolim) sector, which operated daily, has also been suspended. Industry sources indicate that the cuts are part of a wid er network adjustment by the airline aimed at streamlining operations amid crew short ages and evolving flight duty time regulations.
This development follows earlier operational disrup tions in December 2025, when IndiGo cancelled mul tiple flights to and from Goa. These cuts are due to similar constraints, including man power shortages and adverse weather conditions. During that period, a total of 18 flights across both Goa airports were cancelled. Of the 37 scheduled departures from Dabolim, 10 were scrapped, while at Mopa, 8 out of 25 planned IndiGo flights were cancelled. The latest schedule reduction reflects ongoing efforts by the airline to stabilise operations and optimise fleet de ployment, even as it recalibrates capacity across its domes tic network.
