PANJIM: Following call given by its supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders in Goa will hold a one-day hunger strike on Monday, in support of farmers protesting the three farm laws. Kejriwal on Sunday urged the workers and supporters to hold one-day fast on Monday. He himself will also observe the fast.
In a press statement issued, AAP said in support of the protesting farmers, AAP leaders and volunteers will hold a day-long Upvaas (hunger strike) on Monday in all the States across India.

“Tomorrow at 10 am at the headquarters of the Aam Aadmi Party, leaders, MLAs, councillors and volunteers will hold hunger strike till evening 5 pm supporting the call of the hunger strike by the farmers,” AAP leader Gopal Rai said.
To intensify their protest, the farmers have announced a hunger strike on December 14 and AAP will stand beside the demand and protest of the farmers,” the party said.
The party has appeals to the Prime Minister of India that he should directly talk to the farmers regarding their demands.
