An unidentified man, aged around 45–50, was found lying near the RTO Office at Baina, Vasco, and was later declared dead at the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Chicalim.
The man was shifted to SDH Chicalim after being found at the location. However, doctors declared him brought dead.

Police conducted an inquest into the death and subsequently preserved the body at SGDH Margao for further medico-legal formalities.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been established, and further medico-legal procedures are underway.
