Police advisory seeks citizen’s cooperation during BRICS

PANJIM: Goa Police have requested citizens to co-operate with law enforcement agencies during the period of the BRICS summit. Police issued an advisory advising citizens to report suspicious activity, baggage, article or vehicle on toll free numbers 1093 or 100.

Police has also asked people not to believe in rumours and spread them.  Citizens are advised not to touch unclaimed, abandoned, suspicious object till arrival of police and also not to panic, on receiving any information or telephone calls regarding subversive activities. 
“Citizens should not crowd the place if any suspicious object has been found. Please co-operate with police and clear the area as soon as possible,” the advisory states. 
Citizens are advised not to leave their baggage or their vehicle, unattended at any place for long and advised to inform if they find any unclaimed vehicle parked in their locality for a long time.
