EDC Board approves Rs 100.92 lakh dividend for 2022-23

PANJIM: The Economic Development Corporation Limited (EDC) has recommended a dividend of Rs 100.92 lakh for the financial year 2022-23. This decision was reached during a board of directors meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

The board meeting also included discussions about revisions to the Chief Minister’s Rojgar Yojana (CMRY) loan scheme. These revisions aim to make the scheme more appealing to Goan entrepreneurs and are pending government approval. Additionally, the board considered the revision of procedures for term loans to industries, which would expedite the loan appraisal process.

The meeting also highlighted EDC’s achievements and provided an opportunity for the Chief Minister to share his vision for the corporation.

The EDC Limited’s financial statement, which included the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statement for the financial year 2022-23, was approved during the meeting.
