Ameya excels at Nashik

PANJIM: Young and dynamic Audi Ameya put up a fine performance in the recently concluded All India Open FIDE Rating Chess tournament held at Nashik, Maharashtra.

Ameya defeated Kunte Amogh, Pandit Manas, Karnik Bhavesh, Mihir Joshi, Aliporewala Priyank, Abhishek Deshpande, and Rutuja Bakshi and drew with Harsh Mangesh Garg. Ameya had seven wins and a draw to tally 7.5 points out of the nine rounds.
The tournament had a participation of 318 players from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and various parts of Maharashtra.
