Ornaments stolen from Anjuna temple
CALANGUTE, JUNE 19(HC) — Cash and silver ornaments worth Rs 35,000 were stolen from a temple in broad daylight at Anjuna on Saturday. According to Anjuna police, burglars broke into the Vethal temple at Ganv Vaddy, Anjuna, sometime between 12.30 pm and 3.30 pm and stolen cash of about Rs 2,000 from the donation box and silver ornaments worth about Rs 33,000. Police is investigating the case.
