MAPUSA: Saipem Sports Club registered a convincing 2-0 win over Silver Sands Football Academy U16, in the Candolim inter-ward football, played at Candolim ground, on Tuesday.
Both goals for Saipem came in the first session.
In the 5th minute Bapu Pednekar collected a cross from Paul Cardoz and guided the ball into the goal, 1-0.
Just ten minutes later Bapu Pednekar was at his very best as controlled a cross from Karan Morajkar and after dribbling past the rival defender placed the ball past keeper Nevil DeSouza, 2-0.
