WTC Goa hails IT Policy

To publicise policy through its website and its network of all the WTCs in 92 countries

PANJIM: World Trade Centre, Goa has welcomed the IT policy which was launched by Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Thursday. “The pragmatic IT policy will undoubtedly create the much-desired investment climate in this sector and generate employment in the State,” said Y R Warerkar, director, World Trade Centre Goa.
He added that with the emergence of new market opportunities, Information Communication Technology (ICT) will play an important role in meeting the challenges and improving the business scenario. The ICT has changed the face of economies across the world. 
Their presence in a region can provide significant fillip to economic development.  Hence, a conducive IT policy for startups and existing ICT companies can surely increase their contribution to the region
Goa is an ideal destination for IT industries due to its non-polluting nature.  Goa offers perfect environment for a vibrant IT sector to flourish.
World Trade Centre Goa will publicise the IT policy through its website and its network of all the WTCs in 92 countries with a view to facilitate trade and investments in this region.
