British government issues India travel advisory following Red Fort explosion

The United Kingdom has issued a travel advisory against visiting certain parts of India following an explosion near the Red Fort in New Delhi on Monday. The blast occurred inside a moving car outside Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station, killing at least 13 people and injuring several others.

The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) urged citizens in the area to follow local authorities’ instructions and stay updated through the media. Home Minister Amit Shah stated that investigative agencies are examining “all angles” of the incident.
