On Wednesday, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, emphasized the need for lasting noise control solutions for loudspeakers at religious sites. During a review of development initiatives and law enforcement at the Circuit House, he also ordered officials to enforce a ban on high-volume DJs during Holi festivities, according to a statement. Additionally, the CM directed that CCTV cameras be set up in important areas, including banks, financial institutions, retail stores, and other commercial venues.
He mandated rigorous oversight of cattle smuggling, cautioning that severe measures would be taken against smugglers, vehicle owners, and any police officers involved. ADG Zone Piyush Mordia was tasked with performing district-level assessments to guarantee the effective implementation of the state’s total prohibition on cattle smuggling.

“Adityanath also emphasized the need to expedite development initiatives, cautioning against any hold-ups. He instructed officials to designate nodal officers for each ongoing project, carry out weekly inspections, and provide progress updates. Noticing delays in certain projects, he directed officials to accelerate the work while maintaining high standards,” the statement indicated.
