PONDA: So far as many as 10 nominations have been filed for the upcoming Pond Municipal Council (PMC) elections.
It may be recalled that the filing of nominations began on April 6 and the last day for filing the same is April 13.
Ward Number 8, which has been reserved for OBC so far two candidates namely former councillor Pradeep Naik and Prasheela Naik have filed their nominations. In Ward number 7, Vithal Naik, Anil Korde and Vishwanath Dalvi have filed their nominations.
Dalvi is former councillor and block president of Ponda BJP. Lalita Arsekar and Vasanth Sirsat have filed their nominations from Ward 9 and 10 respectively. Abbas Mulla has filed his nomination from Ward number 14 while Githali Talulikar, a former councillor and Sampada Talavlikar have filed their nominations from Ward number 15.
