MARGAO: Administrator of Comunidades South Zone vide a letter addressed to 12 Comunidades in South Goa has asked them to produce proper documents besides depositing Rs 25,000 as processing fees.
In all 12 panchayats from South Goa including 5 each from Salcete and Quepem talukas and one each from Sanguem and Mormugao talukas had sought for NOC to grant comunidade land for setting up garbage treatment site in the villages.

The panchayats that had sought the land are Davorlim-Dicarpale, Chandor-Cavorim, Sao Jose de Areal, Cavelossim and Cortalim from Salcete along with Fatorpa, Avedem-Cotombi-Chaifi, Morpila, Pirla and Naqueri-Betul from Quepem.
Besides Neturlim in Sanguem and Quelossim in Mormugao had also sought comunidade land for setting up garbage treatment sites.
The Administrator of Comunidades South Zone Vishal Kundaikar said the documents as required to be submitted under the Code of Comunidades have not been furnished by the panchayats and asked them to furnish the same.
The documents are a copy of the application to the government, certificate from the concerned Comunidade Attorney that the land sought is vacant and free for allotment, Form I & XIV, survey plan, site plan, NOCs from the Town and Country Planning Department and Panchayat.
Besides he has asked the concerned panchayat to deposit Rs 25,000 as processing fee.
