In a shocking incident on Monday morning, a 17-year-old student from Dhargalim in Pernem was allegedly attacked with acid by an unidentified individual riding a scooter.
The victim, Rishab Umesh Shetye, was on his way to school when the assailant approached and threw acid on him before fleeing the scene.

Rishab sustained burn injuries and was immediately rushed to Goa Medical College (GMC) Hospital for treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the attacker and ascertain the motive behind the assault, which remains unclear at this stage.
