MARGAO: Tragedy struck two young labourers from Delhi when they were engaged in erecting a shed at the Cuncolim Industrial Estate on Monday.
The two deceased fell down when the fabricated part of the shed they were working on gave way as a result of strong winds at around 4 pm.
Cuncolim PI Raju Raut Dessai informed that both Rashid and Sharuk died on the spot as they suffered head injuries in the fall. The shed was being built for a steel plant. PI Dessai, when contacted, informed that inquiry into the incident was in progress.
