PANJIM: As many as 4,000 students appeared for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) held across 15 centres in the State on Sunday. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant took to Twitter to wish the students for the exam.
The CM had earlier this week directed District Collectors to ensure law and order situation in the State, especially where examination centres are located whereas Electricity Department was asked to check that the centres are supplied with non-interrupted power supply while students are answering the exams. Superintendents of Police of North and South were asked to provide all assistance for facilitating and maintaining the law and order situation.
