MARGAO: The mega vaccination camp organised by Margao Urban Health Centre at two places on Monday for people between 45 and 59 years with comorbidities was a grand success as 521 people were inoculated.
At Margao Urban Health Centre, 221 persons were vaccinated while at Hospicio’s centre in T B Hospital at Moti Dongor, 300 persons were inoculated. These included a few frontline warriors such as health workers and police personnel who came for the second dose.

Those who received their first dose have been called after 28 days for the second dose and have been advised to keep “Crocin” tablets handy in case they get fever at night. Dr Anju Karangate supervised the vaccination at the Urban Health Centre, while Dr Ira and Dr Deepa monitored the programme at the T B Hospital.
