MARGAO: A 58-year-old scooter rider identified as Sangappa Yamanappa Mhalgai, died in an accident. The accident took place at Agricol, Kirdolem, Curtorim, in front of a house.
He was taken to PHC Curtorim and further shifted to South Goa District Hospital, Margao, and later referred to GMC, Bambolim, where he passed away.

Head Constable Prasanna Prabhugaonkar conducted the panchanama. Police said that the deceased was proceeding from Curchorem to Margao via Chandor, Curtorim, on his scooter and when after reaching Agricol, Curtorim, dashed against the compound wall of a house.
Police have registered a case as self accident.
