MAPUSA: The taxi operators from North Goa on Tuesday informed that the All Goa Tourist (AGT) and Yellow Black vehicles have already existed with digital meters and only required installation of printers.
“Around 50 per cent of the vehicles which include AGT and Yellow Black already have digital meters. These vehicles only require installation of printers and not full combo devices which costs almost Rs 12 to 15,000,” said a taxi owner Shailesh Malvankar.

“We don’t know why the government wants to install full devices when the vehicles already have digital meters. As per rule 75(10) of Tourists Taxi, All India Permit vehicles do not require meters,” the taxi operators added.
