ANJUNA: Sarpanch of Anjuna-Caisua Village Panchayat Patrick Savio Almeida on Thursday stated that taking into the COVID-19 pandemic into consideration, the panchayat is against holding the Sunburn 2020 festival.

“Taking health of the people and villagers into consideration we do not want Sunburn 2020 to happen. Health Minister himself has said that second wave of COVID is expected in December. Few foreign countries have also declared lockdown taking into consideration the lives of their people,” Almeida said.
“We can have sunburn at some other date and some other year but not in 2020.”
