BICHOLIM: The internal villages from Bicholim Taluka seem to have been badly affected with the lockdown as the panch members and the higher authorities are doing nothing to provide essential commodities.
“It is surprising that in villages there is no proper co-ordination of the authorities. It is learnt that they have given passes to the sarpanch and the panchas but they have not done anything since last four days to know whether people need something and whether they are in any difficulty,” Deelip Desai, a Sal local said.

In Sal, the panchayat had a meeting to chalk out the plan of action to do the necessary supply of items.
