In a major blow to the continuation of Dabolim as an International Airport, the Middle East-based carrier Oman Air has disclosed plans to operate from Mopa international airport from January 1, 2023. The carrier sent an email to its customers that it would operate from the New Mopa International Airport and not from Dabolim.
The government and its minister have been firmly denying that there is any threat to Dabolim airport with the coming up of Mopa Greenfield airport.
