MARGAO: The Camorlim gram sabha, chaired by Sarpanch Siddhi Saulo Naik on Sunday raised their objections to the power department’s failure to issue monthly bills to the consumers.
While demanding that consumers be issued bills every month, gram sabha members told the sarpanch to write to the electricity department authorities to provide installment facility towards payments of bills which has been issued after a gap of five months.
Cica Romao raised the issue of the sub-standard quality of the roads, which has been washed off within a year.
Members resolved to inform the supervising committee of village panchayat about tenders and works taken up by the PWD and members asking to monitor the same.
